GEORGIA ELECTION RUN-OFF CANDIDATES TO MEET
PUBLIC AT OLD-FASHIONED CAMPAIGN PICNIC
SATURDAY JULY 31, 2010
The Georgia 3rd and 13th Districts GOP will host an OLD-FASHIONED CAMPAIGN
PICNIC at McIntosh Reserve, Highway 5 in Whitesburg, Georgia this coming
Saturday, July 31, 2010.
This will be one of the very few opportunities for the general public to
meet and greet ALL of the GOP statewide candidates who will be in the upcoming
Run-Off Election on Tuesday, August 10, 2010.
ALL of the statewide and 13th District GOP run-off candidates have been invited and personal appearances are being confirmed on a daily basis.

Bring your questions for the candidates, pack a picnic lunch and be sure to
bring plenty of beverages to stay comfortable during the hot weather! Hot dogs
will be provided free of charge by the Carroll County GOP. Plan to participate
in friendly competition, as we are plan for tug-of-war, horse shoes,
three-legged races and kid games. Watermelon free to all attending thanks to
our 3rd District GOP Congressman, Lynn Westmoreland. The event will commence
at 11:00AM and conclude around 2:00PM. There is no park admission charge for
attendees to this important event and there is plenty of free parking.

July Breakfast Meeting
|
|
The monthly breakfast meeting will take place on July 10, 2010 at the
Golden Corral beginning at 9:00AM. Our guest speakers will be State Senator
Mitch Seabaugh, Representative Lynn Smith, and Representative Billy Horne. In
addition, all of the local commission candidates will have an opportunity to
speak. They are
District 2: Tim Lassetter and Eddie Wilson
District 3: Bob Blackburn, George (Kett) Harper and David Stover.
Please make plans to attend.
NOTE: WE CONTINUE TO ACCEPT FOOD DONATIONS FOR THE COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY. PLEASE BRING YOUR CANNED GOODS TO THE BREAKFAST OR YOU MAY DROP THEM OFF AT HEADQUARTERS DURING OUR OPERATING HOURS.

County Commission Candidates Forum - July 12

The Business & Community Advocacy Committee of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce and the local party are hosting a
candidate forum for all the county commission candidates on July 12 at the Chamber building located at 23 Bullsboro Drive. District
2 will begin at 6:30PM and District 3 will start around 7:15PM. This is a
great opportunity to learn more about each person running for these seats.

Primary Night Victory Celebration - July 20
|
|
Please join us for the victory celebration on primary night (July 20) at our
headquarters located at 12 Jefferson Street. We will monitor the returns as
they come in. Light refreshments will be served. Come join the fun as we
continue to keep Georgia and Coweta County in Republican hands.

Headquarters is Open
|
|
Our 2010 headquarters is now open. Hours are 10:00AM - 2:00PM, Monday through
Friday. In addition, we are now open on the first Saturday of each month from
10:00AM - 2:00PM. Due to schedule conflicts, the office may be unexpectedly
closed during our normal business hours. Please call us at 770.683.4788 to
make sure someone is there.

Early Voting Continues
|

Early voting continues through July 16th. You may early vote at the County
Administration Building located at 22 Broad Street in downtown Newnan.
